20 things to add to your penpal letter

This Blog post is from my old website before I switched to self-hosting. It was published on February 17, 2019

snail mail is an unexpected party in a letter

Opening a letter from my penpals always feels like a little version of Christmas. I always get very excited and I want my penpals to feel the same when I reply. This is why I always want to include something special in my letter but sometimes finding ideas can be hard. I know many people feel the same so I decided to share a list of some of my favorite things to include in a penpal letter.

20 things to add to your penpal letter

  1. Sticker
  2. Your favorite quotes or lyrics (you can make a list or cute little cards you can hang on the wall)
  3. Washi Samples
  4. Tea
  5. Postcards
  6. Journaling cards
  7. Pictures you took (of you, your room/hometown, of places you went to…)
