Thank you for watching this week’s video. I am very excited to announce that as of today my own Etsy Shop is finally online. In this journal with me you can have a look at some of the designs you’ll find there. I have been working on my own shop for a while and hope you like what I came up with.
A couple of months ago I started thinking about the way I consume products and became more attentive to how much I throw away every day. I started by trying to avoid plastic and re-using as much as I can. It can get pretty frustrating though especially when I go grocery shopping. Everything seems to be wrapped in plastic. I might not be able to cut out plastic out of my life at all but I am trying. Being more aware of all the things I throw away every das opened my eyes to a couple of ways to re-use different items in my journal and use them to document my life. Over time I found a couple of things I like to collect to use in my journals and today I want to share some of those ideas with you.
This week I am excited to share another journal flip through with you guys. I started this insert in June and just finished it in October. It turned out super chunky, which I love and I can’t wait to show you what’s inside.
Thank you for watching yet another journal with me video. The other day I asked you guys to send me anything you would like to say on Instagram for me to put in my journal. I was surprised how many of you left something for me to put in my journal.
This week I want to share my October bullet journal set up with you. I am going back to university soon and I am already planning the coming semester. If you want to know how I set up my bujo for university please check out my blog as I posted about this along with a list of prompts for you last week.
Back to school season may be over but I still have four more weeks until I go back to university. I will start my third semester in Octobre which is insane because I still feel like I just started my first one. The good news is I still love university as much as I did on day one. Once a nerd, always a nerd. But that is not what I want to talk about this week. A couple days ago motivation hit me and I started planning the upcoming semester in my journals. I know I am late to the party but this week I want to show you how I prepare for back to school and besides I think you can still start planning when you are already back at school.
Today I want to share another journal with me video with you guys because I felt very inspired yesterday and just felt like filming it. I got the inspiration for this from @laia_journal who posts a free printable with pictures for you to use on her blog every Sunday. I love how aesthetic her collection looks every week and wanted to try to make an aesthetic collection myself. Since I was doing it digitally I figured I might as well turn it into a printable as well.
For the printable, I had to remove one of the pictures I was using because when I looked up the credits I found out that someone was actually selling it online and I didn’t want to get into any trouble but you can find that picture on Pinterest. I have a special board with all the pictures I used off there.
Hello there and welcome to my first post on my very own self-hosted website. Today I want to share a journal with me video with you guys. Since it is the end of summer and we are heading right into fall I wanted to make a little summer 19 recap in my journal. I didn’t do anything special this summer because I have been working so the page turned out to be more about what has been happening lately.
Since I wanted the page to represent summer I went with bright colors and ended up making a rainbow background.
It took me almost five hours to get this video ready and I am glad I finally finished editing it. Will I ever learn how to edit videos properly? Probably not. Because I had no patience left to plan my voice over this video turned out to be quiet chatty but I like that. Maybe I should do that more often. What do you think?
This Blog post is from my old website before I switched to self-hosting. It was published on April 28, 2019
Almost everywhere I go my traveler’s notebook comes there with me. I have had it for about a year now and I am still head over toes in love with it. Over the last twelve months I have been trying out a couple of different set ups and I feel like I have finally found the right one for me.
If you open it up there are two pockets on the left side which come in very handy if want to take any ephemera with me. There is also one bigger pocket in the back which I use a lot more often. I put a pin from an Etsy Shop on the first pocket and recently added a picture of me that I really liked to the bottom pocket since I didn’t know where to put it in my journal insert.
On the right side you can see my current journal insert. I didn’t know how to decorate the cover so I used it as a regular journal page instead and I ended up loving it.
Inside my traveler’s notebook I keep three inserts in total. Besides my regular journal I have to smaller inserts in the back. Both of them are little booklets that came with a flow magazine. I use the smaller one to write down random thoughts or things I rather keep to myself. I also use this notebook if I want to write something down without creating a whole journal page.
The lager booklet contains ramdom things I wanted to remember. It is basically a physical pinterest board. Inside I keep magazine cutouts or lists with journal prompts…
And that is it for my traveler’s notebook set up. It really does work wonders for me. Do you have a traveler’s notebook and if you do how many inserts do you keep inside?
